When to review your plan

Marriage, divorce, new children or grandchildren, deaths of beneficiaries or trustees, major asset purchases or sales, and moves to a new state are common reasons to review.

Business changes, retirement, and long-term care needs may also affect your Trust Package.

Trustee responsibilities over time

Trustees manage property according to trust terms, keep reasonable records, communicate with beneficiaries when required, and act in the interests described in the document.

Successor trustees should understand their role before they need to serve—especially during incapacity.
